Heather Rathbun Jewellery offers an alternative, contemporary approach to fine jewellery with elegant collections of finely crafted jewels. Drawing on inspiration from complex forms, mechanical structures, and mathematical patterns, our collections reveal an industrial elegance and often feature kinetic components or elements that can be manipulated.
Heather is a Toronto-based goldsmith, operating her studio in the city's west end Junction area. Originally from Nova Scotia, she received her training from NSCAD University (BFA, 2008) in Jewellery Design / Metalsmithing and Photography. Her professional background includes teaching as a jewellery instructor for a number of art and craft programs, and she has represented both OCAD University and NSCAD University as a Jewellery Technician. Heather's collections have received recognition and support from organizations including the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council. She is an alumni of the Artist-in-Residence program at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto.
